<p>The present invention discloses a method and device for handoff decision in the Long Term Evolution (LTE) system. A device of the invention includes: a module for delivering measurement configuration in an evolved node B (eNB), used for when the measurement configuration is delivered to a mobile device User Equipment (UE), selecting Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) as a triggering measurement value, and letting RSRP and Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ) be reported in reporting measurement values at the same time; a measurement decision module in the eNB, used for when a UE-reported event corresponding to a measurement report on the basis of a handoff which meets the selected triggering measurement value RSRP is received, deciding the relationship between the RSRP measurement values of a neighbor cell and a serving cell, and the relationship between the RSRQ measurement values of the neighbor cell and the serving cell; a module for triggering handoff in the eNB, used for when the decision result meets a condition of handoff to the neighbor cell, triggering the handoff process, and when the decision result does not meet the condition of handoff to the neighbor cell, not triggering the handoff process.</p> |
