PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control device, along with a display control method and program, capable of three-dimensionally displaying one component to be edited and another component which interferes with, abuts on, or is located in the vicinity of the one component, without user's operation. SOLUTION: In a product designing device which three-dimensionally displays one part designated to be edited among a plurality of parts constituting a product, three-dimensional data corresponding to the designated part are read from an HDD14 wherein three-dimensional model data are stored, and are developed in a RAM 13. Spherical and rectangular-parallelepiped shaped regions including the designated part are created, and volumes of both of the regions are compared with each other to select one region from both of the created regions. A part interfering with the selected region is detected among the plurality of parts, and three-dimensional model data corresponding to the detected part are read from the HDD14 and is developed in the RAM13.
