PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accept an input operation regarding an image forming process when a failure occurs in an input operation section even when independently installed. SOLUTION: Memory areas 521 to 523 storing a correspondence of a user's input operation in an input operation section 6 and first type of information on image forming processing, a correspondence of detection result outputs from sensors 81 to 84 to the first type of information on the image forming processing, and correspondence of the detection results output from the sensors 81 to 84 to second type of information on the image forming processing are provided in a ROM52 of a control section 5. If a touch panel 62 is not faulty, the CPU51 of the control section 5 performs the image forming processing on the basis of the contents of the memory areas 521 and 523.
