PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food or beverage or a supplement therefor, or a pharmaceutical composition, which exerts an antiinflammatory effect.

SOLUTION: The composition includes, as the active ingredients, resveratrol, a derivative, metabolite or analogue thereof, and at least one additional component selected from EGCG, genistein, vitamin E, polyunsaturated fatty acids, γ-linolenic acid and vitamin K.
