PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To block a through-hole for repair opened in a pneumatic tire. SOLUTION: The outer peripheral wall of a piercing part 28 of a needle 10 is formed with an opening 42 leading to a passage 24. The opening 42 is formed in a position distant from a step part 40 of the needle 10, and when the piercing part 28 is thrusted into a side part 104 of the tire 100 to bring the step part 40 into contact with the outer surface of the side part 104, the opening 42 is located within the through-hole 44 for repair opened in the side part 104 by the piercing part 28.
