The relief dial (23) has a visible surface including raised and recessed areas (28, 29). A first enameled part (25) is formed by a substrate with a hole. Second and third enameled parts (24, 27) are formed by another substrate. One of the substrates is enamel coated i.e. nacre coated. The second and third parts are secured to the first part by an adhesive material such as polymer adhesive, or enamel layer so as to cover the hole for forming the relief dial. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an enameled dial.
