<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize deterioration of transmission rate due to DRS insertion in a communication system using spatial multiplexing by THP. <P>SOLUTION: This transmitter includes a plurality of transmission antennas which transmit signals to a plurality of receivers in the same channel, at the same time, and has: a unique signal generation part which generates unique reference signals addressed to the respective receivers; a data signal generation part which generates data signals addressed to the respective receivers; a spatial multiplexing part which performs spatial multiplexing of at least a part of the unique reference signals and at least a part of the data signals; and a transmitting part which transmits the signals to which the spatial multiplexing is performed. It is desirable that addresses of the unique reference signals and the data signals to which the spatial multiplexing is performed in the spatial multiplexing part are different receivers, and the spatial multiplexing part is a nonlinear spatial multiplexing part which performs the spatial multiplexing to be performed using nonlinear processing for sequentially subtracting interference signals from desired signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
