<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detection unit and a position detection system that facilitate the installation of an imaging device. <P>SOLUTION: A first member 51 constituting a hook-and-loop fastener 5 is attached to a top surface 20t of a casing 20 of a projector 2, and a second member 52 constituting the hook-and-loop fastener 5 is attached to a bottom surface 30b of a casing 30 of the imaging device 3. As to the first member 51 and second member 52, for example, one member has a hook-raised surface and the other member has a loop-raised surface. The two surfaces are pressed together to join them both. The hook-and-loop fastener 5, which disjoins and separates when pulled firmly, can join and separate repeatedly.
