PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation device using vibration energy that can efficiently convert vibration energy of a vehicle, or the like, into electric energy. SOLUTION: The power generation device using vibration energy includes an elastic member that moves in sync with vibration of multiple S-shaped S springs provided horizontally on the inside of a seat cushion frame for a vehicle, a movable member that transmits vibration of the elastic member, rack and pinion gears of a rack and pinion mechanism that convert the amplitude of the movable member into rotational energy, a speed-up gear for speeding up the rotational energy of the pinion gear, a power generation device for converting the rotational energy of the speed-up gear into electric power, and a secondary battery that stores the electric power generated by the power generation device.
