PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noninvasive blood pressure monitoring apparatus capable of consecutively estimating a change in blood pressures of a subject without making a dialysis patient feel discomfort.
SOLUTION: For solving the problem, this blood pressure monitoring apparatus includes: a light source; a first drive circuit for actuating the light source; a detector having sensitivity to the wavelength of a light emitted from the light source; a second drive circuit for actuating the detector; a retaining member retaining the light source and the detector at prescribed optical axial angles; a processing section for extracting a pulse wave signal from an output signal of the detector; and a blood pressure change estimation section where the extracted pulse wave signal is input. The blood pressure change estimation section differentiates the pulse wave signal twice and derives the change in the blood pressures based on a time change in the pulse wave signal processed by the second-order differential equation.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
|
