Synchronisation of wireless terminals of a TDMA network with receivers with low power consumption

The method involves utilizing a synchronized communication protocol for wireless data transfer by a transmission- and/or reception unit for network apparatuses based on time slots. Synchronization data are sent with a synchronization signal by a synchronization transmitter, and are received by an additional receiver that has smaller energy requirement in comparison to the transmission- and/or reception unit for each network apparatus. Two bits are utilized for the synchronization signal. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a network apparatus comprising an additional transmitter (2) a synchronization transmitter comprising a transmitter.
