<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensitizing dye used for a dye sensitizing type photoelectric conversion element, to provide a photoelectric conversion element using the same, and to provide a solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: A dye represented by Formula is used as the sensitizing dye of a photoelectric conversion element.
