<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear shaping machine capable of suppressing a rocking width of a head at the time of switching tooth formation between an outer tooth and an inner tooth. <P>SOLUTION: Elevating/lowering movement cycle of a cutter 114 and a tilting angle of a moving locus are switched to locate a position at a processing side at one side in the radial direction of the cutter 114 and to lower the cutter 114 in parallel with an axial center of a workpiece 1A when relieving means 117, 118, 120, and 121 moving the head 112 to locate the cutter 114 in the position at the processing side and lowering the cutter 114 linearly when a main shaft 113 lowers and moving the head 112 to locate the cutter 114 in a position at a retreating side and raising the cutter 114 linearly when the main shaft 113 rises carry out the generation gear cutting of the outer tooth and to locate the position at the processing side at the other side in the radial direction of the cutter 114 and to lower the cutter 114 in parallel with the axial center of the workpiece 1A when they carry out the generation gear cutting of the inner tooth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
