<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lateral rod mounting structure improving ease of mounting operation. <P>SOLUTION: The lateral rod 4 is disposed in a vehicle width direction of the vehicle and constitutes a part of a suspension. One end of the lateral rod 4 is attached to a vehicle body through a bush, and the other end is attached to an axle pipe (axle component) 2 through a bush 17. The lateral rod 4 is mounted to the axle pipe 2 as follows. That is, a nut 19, which has at the front end thereof a guide part 19c fitted in an inner circumference of one end in the axial direction of an inner tube 17a of the bush 17 attached to the end portion of the lateral rod 4, is attached to the axle pipe 2. The one end in the axial direction of the inner tube 17a of the bush 17 is fitted in the guide part 19c of the nut 19.
