<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrected exhaust pressure loss computation device correcting an exhaust pressure loss, which changes from moment to moment in accordance with the operation state of an engine, into a corrected exhaust pressure loss usable for direct control. <P>SOLUTION: The corrected exhaust pressure loss computation device converts a pressure of exhaust gas into a corrected exhaust pressure loss, which is the exhaust pressure loss under reference conditions, on the basis of: the relationship between the mass flow rate of the exhaust gas and the mass flow rate of the exhaust gas under the reference conditions; the relationship between the temperature of the exhaust gas and the temperature of the exhaust gas under the reference conditions; the relationship between the exhaust pressure and the exhaust pressure under the reference conditions; and the relationship between the coefficient of viscosity of the exhaust gas under the temperature condition of the exhaust gas and the coefficient of viscosity of a viscous gas under the reference conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
