<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device that acquires a stable servo signal and a playback signal of a high S/N ratio, while preventing a focus error signal and a tracking error signal from being affected by stray light from another layers, in recording and playback of double-layer and multilayer optical disks. <P>SOLUTION: Light reflected from the double-layer and multilayer optical disks is divided into a plurality of regions by a diffraction grating. A light receiving part for detecting optical beams diffracted from a diffraction grating region on one side, except a center region, is connected to a parting line passing through the center of the diffraction grating and extending in a disk tangential direction, and the other side is wired in the same way to detect signals. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
