PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer which has two printing parts, and prints and issues labels from two places, and also can issue labels effectively while controlling power consumption. SOLUTION: The label printer includes the two printing parts and a control unit. When it is determined that a printed label is removed from a label issuing opening of one printing part, a non-printed label is positioned at a printing position and the control unit controls so as to start printing of the one printing part after printing of the other printing part is finished.
