<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outline determination device of which the determination time is short and which enables miniaturization and cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: The outline determination device includes a mounting base 3 which has a rectangular mounting surface 3a whereon a determination object is mounted, an optical waveguide 1X for sending light laterally, an optical waveguide 2X for receiving light laterally, an optical waveguide 1Y for sending light longitudinally and an optical waveguide 2Y for receiving light longitudinally which are installed in the peripheral edges of the mounting surface 3a, an optical waveguide 1Z for sending light in the height direction and an optical waveguide 2Z for receiving light in the height direction which stand upward from the mounting surface 3a, a light source D1 which is connected to light cores 22 for sending light of the optical waveguides 1X, 1Y and 1Z for sending light in the longitudinal, lateral and height directions, a photoelectric transducer C1 which is connected to cores 23 for receiving light of the optical waveguides 2X, 2Y and 2Z for receiving light in the longitudinal, lateral and height directions, and an outline calculation means 4 which performs arithmetic processing in response to a light shielding signal from the photoelectric transducer C1 and calculates the outline of the determination object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
