The suspension (33) has a lever arm (30) connected with a moving element (11) and a drive (20) so as to convert drive-sided motion (P1) into opening movement (P) of the moving element. A metallic membrane (34) is effectively connected with the lever arm. The suspension movably connects the lever arm with an adhesive application head (15) and serves as a sealing to prevent discharge of adhesive from a chamber (10). A sealing ring (35) flexibly clamps the membrane at the adhesive application head. The membrane comprises a slot. An independent claim is also included for an adhesive application head for discharging flowing adhesive.
