METHOD FOR ANALYZING HEMOGLOBIN BY ELECTROPHORESIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for analyzing hemoglobin by electrophoresis that improves the analysis accuracy of hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) and modified hemoglobin and shortens the analysis time.

SOLUTION: The method for analyzing hemoglobin by the electrophoresis includes performing the electrophoresis under conditions in which an acidic substance having two or more carboxyl groups is present in an electrophoresis solution. At least two of the carboxyl groups of the acidic substance each have an acid dissociation constant (pKa) lower than the pH of the electrophoresis solution at the time of analysis.
