PLASTIC FERRULE

PURPOSE: A plastic ferrule is provided to combine with a plastic optical fiber by high frequency welding, thereby securing strong combining and improving combining speed with low power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A plastic ferrule(10) is combined with a plastic optical fiber(20) which is inserted through a longitudinal direction inside a ferrule back end part. The outer side surface is closely connected with the optical connector while being inserted from the ferrule tip-end part into the optical connector. The plastic ferrule is inserted to an optical connector from a ferrule front end part. The outer surface of the plastic ferrule is closely connected to the optical connector(30).
