<p>PURPOSE: An electrode assembly is provided to minimize volume relative to capacity by including an electrode in which a coated part which does not participate in charging/discharging processes is included. At least one of the first and second electrodes includes an active material-uncoated part at the forward ends(115,125) that are the first wound end, or tail ends(116,126) that are the latter wound end.
