PURPOSE: A channel control device of an image display device and a method thereof are provided to perform control for various channels by adding some functions. CONSTITUTION: An image display device configures a PLP(Physical Layer Pipe) which offers broadcast service. The image display device senses a channel in the PLP. The image display device displays the corresponding channel and channel information about the detected channel and user request. In a channel setup menu screen(400), PLP broadcast channel information about the received broadcast channel is displayed(405). |
