A side curtain (16) for truck or trailer bodies (10) is disclosed. The curtain has a bottom edge in the shape of a series of intersecting curves (14). The points of intersection (apexes) (15) of adjoining curves (14) are at or near the lowermost points of said curtain and are attachment points for tensioning said curtain on a vertical direction. Each attachment point is engagable by tensioning means actuatable at each apex (15) to apply a downward force and hence provide said tensioning in a vertical direction.
