<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner, and a method of a defrosting operation of the air conditioner capable of suppressing degradation of a heating capacity in the defrosting operation. <P>SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes a control means 20 for supplying a part of a refrigerant discharged from a compressor 1 to an outdoor heat exchanger 5 through a hot gas bypass circuit 9 in a hot gas bypass-system defrosting operation, and supplying the refrigerant discharged from the compressor 1 to the outdoor heat exchanger 5 by switching a four-way valve 2, in a reverse-system defrosting operation. The control means 20 performs the defrosting operation by the hot gas bypass system by increasing a rotational frequency of the compressor 1, when the rotational frequency of the compressor 1 is less than a prescribed rotational frequency in starting the defrosting operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
