PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure of a segment that can surely perform water cut-off of the segment with a simple structure even with the occurrence of aperture and misalignment phenomena. SOLUTION: The seal structure of the segment with a groove part provided in the joint face of the segment and with a sealing material disposed in the groove part is provided with a backup material harder than the sealing material, on the opposite side to the side where water pressure is applied to the sealing material in the groove part. Consequently, even if the aperture and misalignment phenomena of the segment occur, detachment of the sealing material is prevented by the backup material, and water cut-off of the segment can be surely performed.
