<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interlocking device, along with an image forming apparatus, capable of detecting the opening and closing of a plurality of opening and closing members by using a single interlock switch with simple and inexpensive configuration. <P>SOLUTION: The interlocking device 50 turns on/off the interlock switch 51 interlocked with opening and closing of the plurality of opening and closing members such as an upper cover 40 and a reverse unit cover 41. A switch actuating device 59 includes: a cylinder member 52 in which incompressible fluid 56 is enclosed; an output piston 53 which is provided to be slidable in an output-side cylinder part 52b; and input pistons 54 and 55 which are provided to be slidable in input-side cylinder parts 52c and 52d and actuate the output piston 53 interlocked with opening and closing of the respective covers 40 and 41. By opening and closing the covers 40 and 41, respective strikers 40a and 41a thereof press the input pistons 54 and 55 or release the pressing, thereby the output piston 53 is actuated to switch the on/off of the interlock switch 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
