PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg providing both of excellent impact resistance and electroconductivity, and to provide a carbon fiber-reinforced composite material. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition for the carbon fiber-reinforced composite material contains at least (A) an epoxy resin, (B) a curing agent and (C) thermoplastic resin particles containing an electroconductive material. The prepreg and the carbon fiber-reinforced composite material are obtained by using the resin composition. The carbon fiber-reinforced composite material comprises: a cured product of the epoxy resin composition for the carbon fiber-reinforced material, containing at least (A) the epoxy resin, (B) the curing agent and (C) the thermoplastic resin particles containing the electroconductive material; and carbon fibers.
