<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell which can prevent powderization of a solid electrolyte region. <P>SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel cell FC1 includes a solid electrolyte 3 having a first region sandwiched by a fuel electrode 4 and an air electrode 1, and a second region formed between an interconnector 2 and the first region. The first region is formed of material having oxygen-ion conductivity, and is so structured that oxygen ions are conducted from the air electrode 1 to the fuel electrode 4 without transmitting fuel gas and oxidant gas. The second region includes a part which is formed of material having oxygen ion conductivity, and the second region is so structured that oxygen ions and water do not coexist. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
