PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for varying the time of closing a variable member attached to a special game shift lottery starting hole, capable of achieving a variety of closing patterns. SOLUTION: The Pachinko game machine is of such a type that a random number is acquired based on entrance of a game ball into a special game shift lottery starting hole, and that the game state is shifted to a special game advantageous to a player when a lottery using the acquired random number is won. The variable member which is opened under a prescribed condition to allow game balls to easily enter the special game shift lottery starting hole, is attached to the starting hole. The Pachinko game machine is configured to determine the time of a closed state in opening/closing the variable member disposed in the special game shift lottery starting hole from among a plurality of candidates for the time of the closed state.
