PURPOSE: A sunroof operating switch for a vehicle is provided to prevent the malfunction contact of a knob primarily by inserting a knob to a knob cover, and to prevent malfunction secondarily by making a knob hang on a knob cover not to close an opened sunroof in case of contact with a knob. CONSTITUTION: A sunroof operating switch for a vehicle comprises a working terminal unit(20) moved horizontally backward and forward on the lower part of a fixed terminal unit(10) having a fixed terminal(12) and coupled with a horizontal working terminal(21) contacted with the fixed terminal, a housing(30) covering the working terminal unit and coupled with the fixed terminal unit, a knob(40) coupled to the lower part of the working terminal unit to move forward and backward, and a knob cover(50) penetrated with a knob support(23) of the working terminal unit to be exposed and buried under a ceiling of a vehicle.
