PURPOSE: A character input method in a portable terminal based on a touch screen is provided to quickly input characters using a drag input method. CONSTITUTION: A consonant or a vowel is inputted with one touch. Using the drag function of a touch screen, characters are inputted. If a user clicks a "* " button, the Korean alphabet "i " is inputted. If the user drags the "* " button, a combination vowel is inputted. If the user clicks a "1 " button, the Korean alphabet "g " is inputted. If the user drags the "1 " button, the Korean alphabet "k " is inputted. |
