OBJECT DETECTION RECOGNITION APPARATUS, OBJECT DETECTION RECOGNITION METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten processing time for face detection and gender recognition and to improve accuracy of male/female recognition. SOLUTION: An identifier learning device extracts feature values peculiar to a male or a female by using a partial image of a size in which information of hair and an outline is included. An identifier memory separately includes a male face detecting identifier and a female face detecting identifier. An object detection and gender recognition unit detects an object of a male face by using the male face detecting identifier and detects an object of a female face by using the female face detecting identifier.
