Disclosed is a display area control apparatus which alleviates the strangeness felt when a screen component takes time in being displayed. The display area control apparatus (100) is provided with a display unit (109); a data storage unit (107) that has data for displaying screen components stored therein; a screen-component reflection unit (105) that obtains data stored in the data storage unit (107), and reflects the obtained data onto the screen components; a screen-component state storage unit (106) that has the reflected state stored therein; a display area control unit (108) that determines the display area according to the reflected state; and a screen-component management unit (104) that displays data-reflected screen components on the display area, and conceals data-unreflected screen components.
