PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for processing the cut line of sheet glass are provided to facilitate a cut line processing process by setting the processing force of a cutting tool to be in a range between 1.6 and 8.0N and using an elastic body as a supporting unit. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for processing the cut line of sheet glass includes a plurality of transferring rollers(32,34,36,38,40, 42) and a cutting tool(44). The transferring rollers transfer sheet glass. The cutting tool processes cut line on the surface of the sheet glass. The direction of the cut line is perpendicular to the transferring direction of the sheet glass. A supporting unit is in contact with the rear side of the sheet glass. The supporting unit moves at the same speed as the cutting tool.
