<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-part hair dye that exhibits good foaming properties even when the temperature of a mixed solution of the non-aerosol two-part hair dye is rapidly raised by an oxidation reaction of an oxidation dye, gives sufficient foam at a low temperature, has the fundamental function necessary to a hair dye, and gives the effect specific to the non-aerosol two-part hair dye. <P>SOLUTION: The two-part hair dye includes a first preparation containing an alkali agent, a second preparation containing hydrogen peroxide, and a non-aerosol foamer container, wherein the mixed solution contains components (A) and (B), the content of the hydrogen peroxide in the mixed solution is 3.60 mass% or more, and the viscosity of the mixed solution is 1-300 mPa s or more. A method for dying hair includes applying a foam of the mixed solution of the first preparation and the second preparation of the two-part hair dye to hair, leaving the foam for 3-60 minutes, and rinsing the foam off the hair.
