摘要 The present invention is directed to an actuator comprising a first electromagnetic stator (123), a first rotor (113) being rotatably arranged inside the first electromagnetic stator (123), a first and a second electromagnet (115, 116) being provided at a first and an opposing second end of the first rotor (113), respectively, and a first permanent magnet (120) coupled to the first rotor (123) such that the first permanent magnet (120) is capable of moving along the first rotor (123). The actuator further comprises similarly a second electromagnetic stator (223), second rotor (213), third and fourth electromagnets (215, 216) and a second permanent magnet (220). The distribution of magnetic fields inside the electromagnetic stators (123, 223) and the rotor electromagnets is provided such that the first rotor (113) rotates clockwise and the second rotor (213) rotates anti-clockwise and the first and second permanent magnets (120, 220) move along the first and second rotors (113, 213), respectively.
