PURPOSE: A functional soil material is provided to directly supply potassium as essential ingredient for crop growth by improving insoluble potassium oxide included in feldspar. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing a functional soil material comprises the steps of: pulverizing feldspar, limestone and pottery stone to be 300 mesh or less; preparing a first mixture in which feldspar and limestone powders are uniformly mixed; preparing an aqueous solution in which brine, pottery stone powder and water are mixed; absorbing the aqueous solution to the first mixture; drying the first mixture in which the aqueous solution is adsorbed to make an agglomerate; and pulverizing the agglomerate to be 300 mesh or less.
