SWASH TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE: A swash plate type compressor is provided to improve the cooling and lubricating performance of drive components by supplying enough oil to the mechanical components of a swash plate compartment. CONSTITUTION: A swash plate type compressor comprises front and rear cylinder blocks(110a,110b), front and rear heads(130,150), first and second suction passages(116,118), and a valve assembly(160). The front and rear cylinder blocks have multiple cylinder bores(112). The rear cylinder block is coupled to the front cylinder block and constitutes a swash plate compartment(140). The front and rear heads are coupled to the front of the front cylinder block and the rear of the rear cylinder block. The first and second suction passages supply working fluid from the swash plate compartment to first and second suction chambers(132,134,152,154) of the front and rear heads. The valve assembly supplies the working fluid from the first and second suction chambers to the cylinder bores and selectively exhausts the working fluid to an exhaust chamber.
