PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shoe in which the eyes of the wearer of the shoe are focused on a part of the toe where fluorescent color or the like is applied when descending stairs, and a larger part of the sole of the stepping foot can be placed on a tread as the wearer moves the foot to put a strip-like part in different color from the fluorescent color or the like to the distal end of the tread of the stair, thus enabling the wearer to stably and safely descend the stairs. SOLUTION: All or part of the upper part at the toe that is equivalent in length to 20-35% of total length of the shoe is painted in the fluorescent color. In addition, in the upper part painted in the fluorescent color, an almost strip-like part painted in different color from the fluorescent color is composed in an almost perpendicular direction to the total length direction at a part between 25% and 30% from the toe.
