PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dentifrice having excellent removing power for microscopic dirt not only in a gap between teeth but also on the tooth. SOLUTION: The dentifrice composition includes (A) 1-50 mass% of granules having a particle diameter of 20-500μm and (B) 0.1-5 mass% of carboxymethylcellulose or its salt having an etherification degree of 0.1-0.5.
