<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize high contrast while reducing a drive voltage when displaying an image, and maintain a stable image display operation even when displaying repetitively, in an image display medium performing at least a white display. <P>SOLUTION: Display particles used for image display medium 10 which performs an image display by applying an electric field between substrates 11 and 21, at least one of which has translucency, and thereby moving a display particle group 5. The display particles include negatively charged white particles and positively charged black particles, and the white particles include at least color resin particles formed from a binder resin and titanic oxide processed with silicon oil, and inorganic fine particles having the average particle diameter of 3 nm-14 nm. The inorganic fine particles are surface processed with alkyl trialkoxysilane or alkyl silazane which have an alkyl group with a carbon number of 6 to 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
