<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide noble metal catalyst power excellent in heat resistance and durability, and sufficiently exhibiting catalyst performance for a long period, and also to provide a gas sensor element using the same, and a gas sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The noble metal catalyst power 1 consists of noble metal alloy particles 11 containing Pt, Pd, and Rh. The average grain diameter of the noble metal alloy particles 11 is 0.2-2.0 μm. Element quantitative analysis is performed at any ten or more different locations in the noble metal catalyst power 1.
