PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus that performs imaging in a high rendering property by imparting a blurring effect with a small-scale, power-saving and inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes: an image sensor 3 for generating image data by imaging an object image; a focusing amount calculation device 8 for calculating a focusing amount for each position of the object image from a detail component obtained from the image data; a detail correction amount calculation device 9 for calculating a detail correction amount from the focusing amount; and a detail addition device 7 for adding a detail component corrected in accordance with the detail correction amount to a low-frequency component of the image data.
