<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage control method capable of performing good acceleration control by always setting an initial control amount for smoothly accelerating a carriage in a short time to an optimum value. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method of performing a PID control of a driving current of a carriage motor 25 for operating the carriage 22 equipped with an inkjet head 21 for ejecting ink in accordance with a velocity deviation ΔV between the actual rotational velocity Vc and the target rotational velocity Vt of the carriage motor 25, wherein an initial integrated output value (Istr) for the PID control upon starting to drive the carriage motor 25 so as to start the operation of the carriage 22 is determined based on the preceding control output value (PIDpre) as the PID control amount upon the preceding operation of the carriage 22. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
