PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide fire extinguisher system control techniques capable of avoiding an occurrence of trouble of ICT apparatuses caused by starting fire extinguishers in an information-communication equipment room. SOLUTION: When a fire breaks out in a compartment (S102) and two or more smoke detectors 6 detect a fire (S103), the information is transmitted to a control section 8 (S104). The control section 8 commands normal arrest of the functions (shutdown) to respective server units 3b (S106). After confirming the normal arrest of the functions of the server units 3b (S108), the control section immediately commands the fire extinguishers to start (S109). Starter valves 5d of gas container units 5 are thus opened to supply inert gas via a main line 5a and the inert gas is released from injection head 5b to the interior of the room (S111).
