PURPOSE: A bead structure of a tire for a heavy load is provided to enhance the stability of a tire since a chance of turn-up release from the end of carcass is removed. CONSTITUTION: A bead structure of a tire for a heavy load is as follows. A carcass(3) is located between a bead core(1) and a steel chafer(4). The carcass protect the bead core and the turn-up edge end(3a) of the carcass is folded and fixed in a lower bead filler(2b). The folded part of the turn-up edge end of the carcass is wound on a steel cord(8), which is arranged in the circumferential direction of a tire. The height(H) of the turn-up edge end of the carcass folded on the steel cord becomes 5mm or more higher than the height(h) of the bead core.
