<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety element assembly capable of using a standardized secondary battery irrespective of use conditions of a high capacity and high output electronic device. <P>SOLUTION: This is for shutting down an overheat and overcurrent of a secondary battery and is provided with a first sheet metal connected to the secondary battery, a safety element connected on the first sheet metal, and a second sheet metal connected on the safety element. The first sheet metal is provided with a first region laminated against the safety element and the second sheet metal and a second region exposed outside without being laminated against the safety element and the second sheet metal. Thereby, a plurality of sheet metals are formed on both faces of a PTC element and shapes of a plurality of the sheet metals are differentiated to form each of regions where a plurality of the sheet metals are exposed and thereby a standardized secondary battery produced in the same specification can be used commonly under a use conditions of the secondary battery for a high output or a high capacity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
