PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column base structure capable of immediately exerting a function for decreasing the thickness of a column base fitting, when a load for generating large bending moment acts on a column member. SOLUTION: In this column base structure 70 in which the column base fitting 74 joined to a lower end of the column member 72 is fixed to a protrusion protruded on first concrete 78 of an anchor bolt 76 embedded in the first concrete 78, a surplus length portion 76a of the anchor bolt 76, which is protruded from a top surface of a joint fitting 74 for joining the column base fitting 74 to the anchor bolt 76, is provided; an upper end of the surplus length portion 76a is provided with a diameter-enlarged member 92; and second concrete 78, which is formed on the first concrete 78 and the top surface of which is provided in a position higher than at least a bottom surface of the diameter-enlarged member 92, and a tubular member 102, which is provided between a top surface of the joint fitting 90 and the bottom surface of the diameter-enlarged member 92, are provided.
