The invention relates to a method for interaction between a first 1 and a second 2 sensory stimulator, each sensory stimulator comprising a haptic unit and being represented in a common virtual space 3 by an image body 11, 21 associated with a perceiving body 12, 22 by a virtual link 13, 23, each haptic unit being suitable for moving the corresponding perceiving body thereof in the common virtual space, each sensory stimulator being suitable for being placed in an active state A1 when the corresponding perceiving body thereof, moving in the common virtual space, touches the image body corresponding to another sensory stimulator. When the sensory stimulator is in the active state, the method essentially comprises a step E11 of deforming the image body, initiated by means of the haptic unit. The invention also relates to a sensory stimulator and an interaction system suitable for implementing said method.
